Now, more than ever, the ability to connect and access essential resources is critical to our health and can be life-saving.
It is at times like these we need proven leadership. Someone with the background, education, and commitment to the community to revitalize our city.
A long-standing advocate for small business, economic development, and public safety.
We know this is an uncertain time for all of us. As a community activist and leader, we want to make sure you remain safe and informed during this time of crisis. We are stronger together, and we need an experienced voice that takes action.

I believe Reno has entered a critical time that demands a consensus-building civic advocate that is passionate about protecting and preserving our neighborhoods. My personal experience of volunteerism with business associations, river preservation advocates, our homeless population, mental health facilities, and economic development has been the true force behind my decision to run. I have acquired a unique skill-set that has allowed me to build strong relationships and be a catalyst for real change. I have always had a desire to run for office, and my drive for becoming a candidate for city council started close to a decade ago, with the current state of things, I feel it is the optimum time for me to step up and be that voice for change.
In the face of unprecedented change, our Battle-Born Spirit is more present than ever through the compassion and unifying power of our citizens, we are stronger together. Now, more than ever, the ability to connect and access essential resources is critical to our health and can even be lifesaving. #RenoStrong #RenoResilient
I have been asked many times by constituents a few basic questions, why am I running and why I feel…
Britton Griffith, Vice President of Reno Engineering Corporation (a development services company based in Nevada), and past Reno City Planning Commissioner, officially filed to run for Reno City Council Ward 1 in the 2020 election cycle. Ward 1 encompasses the central-west area of Reno. Griffith stated, “I believe Reno has entered a critical time that demands a consensus-building community advocate that is passionate about protecting and preserving our neighborhoods, Ward 1 requires an effective leader who will support the economic vitality and quality of life the citizens of Reno deserve. I believe I am that leader.”
As a 5th generation Nevadan, University of Nevada graduate, female business owner and a past City of Reno Commissioner, I am fiercely committed to preserving and protecting our neighborhoods.
As a City Councilperson, often you are one critical vote out of seven. If elected, my promise to you and my fellow neighbors of Ward I is that my one vote would be dedicated to ensuring sustainability, supporting small businesses, and protecting our parks and citizens.
